Webok so here's what I've done, my hitsound directory is. steam > steamapps > common > Team Fortress 2 > tf > custom > tf2hitsounds > sound > ui. and then i have my hitsound.wav in there. although when I go into the game and I put my hitsound on default which is what I was told, nothing happens. I don't hear anything on hits or kills. Webtry an other name then sounds for your randomfoldername, and check if it's actualy a .wav file. and make sure you have this in your autoexec. tf_dingalingaling 1. tf_dingaling_volume 1.0 // Sets the volume of the hit sound.
